Welcome to Rural Connect!

Our Mission

RuralConnect is a European project that brings together rural towns in five countries (Spain, Italy, Romania, Ireland and Luxembourg) to help their citizens, especially women, youth, and local entrepreneurs, become more active in their communities and in EU democracy. Its main mission is to tackle challenges like limited access to EU programs and low civic participation by building cooperation networks, offering digital and leadership training, and creating spaces for citizens to directly share their voices and ideas with policymakers. The project aims to create more resilient, inclusive, and connected rural communities across Europe.
